I. How to make custom databases with database automations (no paid Notion subscriptions required)

Know your target database

• [ ] Know your target database. What database are you trying to build?
• [ ] What automations do you need for this database?

Find the automation module you need

• [ ] Open the Automation Modules page.
  • [ ] Go to Automation Modules.
  • [ ] Go to any page inside the database with the automation module you want to copy (for example, open Variant 1: Create a non-related empty page).

Duplicate the module

• [ ] Duplicate the automation module

  DAM refers to Database Automation Modules.

  • Method 1: Automation modules with only one database (such as DAM no. 1) can be Duplicated via Ctrl+D or Cmd+D.
  • Method 2: Automation modules with two or more databases (such as DAM no. 2) need to be Duplicated via Publishing to make more copies.

Customize the database

• [ ] Make the databases in the newly duplicated automation module your own.
  • [ ] Change the titles of all databases.
  • [ ] Change the names of the properties associated with the automation (if there are any).
  • [ ] Change the names of the pages associated with the automation (if there are any).
  • [ ] Customize the database to suit your needs.

II. (Optional) Request new database automation modules
